# Turup 29 — Facebook Page Master Setup Guide ♠

**The one document to follow, start to finish.** A click-by-click walkthrough to **create** the Turup 29 Facebook Page in 2026, **optimise** every setting, and **load this pack's ready-made assets + copy**. No prior Facebook-marketing experience needed — just do the steps in order and tick the boxes.

> **Time budget:** ~45–60 minutes for a launch-ready Page (most of it is copy-paste from this pack). **Do it all on a desktop computer** (Chrome/Edge/Safari) — the phone app and even Meta Business Suite hide a few critical fields (the **@username editor** especially). You can post from your phone later.

## §A. Before you start (gather these — 5 minutes)

You need all of this in hand before you begin so you never stall mid-setup:

1. ☐ **A personal Facebook account, logged in on a desktop browser.** A Page is always created *under* a personal account, and that account becomes the first admin. **You stay private** — your personal name is not shown to the public as the Page owner. (In the 2026 "New Pages Experience" a Page has **no separate password**; you **switch into** it from your profile.)
2. ☐ **A work/business email** you can receive mail at (for the Business Portfolio and Meta Verified later). Your project Gmail is fine.
3. ☐ **The support email** to publish on the Page: `support@shamrocks.games`. *(Operator: confirm this alias is monitored before launch — replies go here.)*
4. ☐ **The assets from this pack**, on the same computer:
   - Profile picture → `assets/profile/profile-1080.png`
   - Cover photo → `assets/cover/cover-1640x624.png`
5. ☐ **The copy files open in a tab** for copy-paste: `page-identity.md` and `response-templates.md`.
6. ☐ **The working link, memorised:** the web app `https://turup29-games.pages.dev` (LIVE today — this is what every button and field points to).

> ⚠️ **The one rule that protects everything:** Turup 29 must always read as a **free, non-gambling, skill** card game. That classification is the *only* thing that lets it advertise in India and Bangladesh. Never let any field, image, caption, or reply imply real money, cash prizes, betting, or "earn/win money." All the copy in this pack is already written to that bar — when in doubt, paste from the pack rather than writing your own.

## §B. Create the Page (Meta Business Suite path) + name + categories

We use the **Meta Business Suite** path because it drops the Page inside a **Business Portfolio** from minute one — which you'll need anyway for admin roles, ads, and Meta Verified. (The facebook.com path produces an identical Page; this one just saves a step later.)

1. ☐ On desktop, go to **`business.facebook.com`** and sign in with your personal account.
2. ☐ **If you have no Business Portfolio yet,** Meta prompts you to **create a business portfolio**. Give it:
   - a **business name** (e.g. `Shamrocks Games`),
   - **your name**, and
   - your **work email** (§A.2).
   This portfolio is the container for everything later (§I).
3. ☐ Bottom-left, click **Settings** (the gear). In the left column, under **Accounts / Business assets**, open **Pages**.
4. ☐ Top-right, click the blue **Add** → **Create a new Facebook Page**.
5. ☐ Fill the creation fields:
   - **Page name:** type exactly `Turup 29`.
     - *Why exactly this:* it must match the app/store name and the website, and FB only lets you rename a Page about **once every ~60 days** (with a manual review). The name field forbids slogans, "official"/"verified," excess capitals, and mixed-language strings — `Turup 29` is clean. (Do **not** append a tagline like "Turup 29 - Free Card Game" — that gets flagged.)
   - **Category:** start typing `Video Game` and pick it from FB's list. Then add **App Page** and **Games/Toys** (up to **3** total). Make sure **Video Game is first** — the first/primary category is what unlocks the **Play Game** action button and gives the best game discoverability.
     - The exact wording for the bio comes from `page-identity.md` (§E); you can paste it here if a bio field appears, or add it later.
6. ☐ Accept Meta's **Terms** and confirm. **The Page is created and already attached to your portfolio.** In the 2026 experience there is **no separate "Publish" click** — it is live immediately.
7. ☐ Confirm it worked: the **top-left account switcher** in Business Suite should now list **Turup 29**. Click it — Inbox/Insights/Planner should load for that Page.

> If you'd rather create it on **facebook.com** instead: go to `facebook.com/pages/create`, fill **name + categories + bio**, click **Create Page**, then attach it to your portfolio in §I. Same result.

## §C. Upload assets — which file goes where (with safe-zone reminders)

Both finished images ship in this pack at the correct retina sizes and with the brand-correct **royal plum felt (#2e1a47) + brass gold (#c9962f / #f0cf7c)** look and crimson-gold card backs. You just upload them.

### C1. Profile picture (the app icon)

- **Upload this file:** `assets/profile/profile-1080.png`
- **Size:** 1080 × 1080 px (square). FB displays it as a **circle** (~170×170 on desktop, ~128×128 on mobile).
- **Safe-zone reminder:** FB clips the four corners — the icon was designed dead-centre inside the safe circle, so it stays whole. **Don't crop or zoom it** during upload; accept it as-is.
- **How:** switch into the Page → click the **profile-picture circle** (top of the Page header, or **Edit profile** in Business Suite) → **Upload photo** → choose the file → **Save**. (You can do this on facebook.com or in Business Suite → your Page → **Edit profile**.)

### C2. Cover photo (the banner)

- **Upload this file:** `assets/cover/cover-1640x624.png`
- **Size:** 1640 × 624 px (this is the 2× "retina" master; it displays 820×312 on desktop and a centre-cropped 640×360 on mobile).
- **Safe-zone reminder:** the **desktop and mobile crops differ** — phones chop ~90–100 px off each side and the avatar overlaps the lower area. This file was built so **all the meaning-bearing artwork (wordmark + cards) lives in the centre `1280×624` safe band** and the **bottom-left / lower-centre is kept clear** for the profile picture. So again: upload, **don't reposition**. (Want to see why? Open `assets/cover/_qa-cover-safezones.png` — it overlays the safe boxes. **That QA file is a reference only — never upload it.**)
- **How:** switch into the Page → click the **camera / Edit** on the cover area (or **Edit profile** → **Cover photo** in Business Suite) → **Upload photo** → choose the file → **Save**. If FB offers a **Reposition** drag, leave it centred and just **Save changes**.

> **After uploading both:** open your public Page in an **incognito window** on desktop **and** glance at it on your phone. Confirm the wordmark and cards aren't clipped on either, and the avatar isn't covering anything important. (A correctly-built cover passes both.)

## §D. Claim the @username (DESKTOP ONLY)

The vanity URL `facebook.com/turup29` and the public `@turup29` handle. **This editor does not exist in the phone app or in Meta Business Suite — you must use a desktop browser.**

1. ☐ On **desktop**, switch into the Page (profile pic top-right → **Switch profile** → **Turup 29**).
2. ☐ Go to **Settings** → **Page setup** / **Page details**, and find **Username** — or click **"Create @username"** shown under the Page name on the profile.
3. ☐ Type `turup29`. A **green check** means it's available → **Create username / Save**.
4. ☐ **If it's taken or you see "not eligible":**
   - New Pages sometimes must **age a day or two and have some content** before the field unlocks. If you just created the Page, finish §C and §K first (add the photos + one post), then come back and retry.
   - Otherwise pick a clean fallback, in this order: `turup29game` → `turup29cards` → `playturup29` → `turup29official`. Whatever you pick, **keep it identical to your Instagram/website handle** so all links match.
   - Rules to stay inside: **5–50 chars, letters/numbers/periods only** (no spaces/hyphens/symbols); periods and capitals don't make it unique (`turup.29` = `turup29`).
5. ☐ *If the field is mysteriously missing on a laptop:* you're probably in a mobile view — use the browser's **"Request desktop site,"** re-switch into the Page, and it appears.

> Record the final handle in `page-identity.md` if you ended up on a fallback, so the rest of the pack stays consistent.

## §E. Fill About + contact

Open `page-identity.md` — it has **every field written and ready to paste, in English + Bengali + Hindi**, all within FB's character limits (bio 155 · About 255 · Mission 255). Don't compose your own; the pack's copy is compliance-checked.

Switch into the Page → **Edit profile** (or **Settings → Page info / Page details**) and fill:

> **Must appear somewhere in About / Our Story** (it's pre-written in `page-identity.md`, but verify it's there after pasting):
> *"Turup 29 is a free-to-play card game for entertainment only. It does not offer real-money gambling, betting, or any opportunity to win cash or prizes. In-game coins are virtual items with no real-world value and cannot be cashed out. Includes optional in-app purchases. Intended for adults 18+."*

Keep the words **"card game"** and **"29"** in the bio/description — that's how players search for this title.

## §F. Add the "Play Game" action button + link, then test logged-out

The single blue button under the cover is the highest-converting element on the Page. A Page has **only one** at a time.

1. ☐ Switch into the Page → on the header, click **+ Add action button** (or the **•••** / pencil → **Edit action button** if one already exists).
2. ☐ Choose **Play Game**.
   - *Why Play Game:* the game is **playable right now in the browser**, so one click drops a visitor straight in — zero "download first" friction. It also reads natively for the **Video Game** category. (If "Play Game" isn't offered, your primary category isn't Video Game — fix §B first.)
3. ☐ In **"Where should this button send people?"**, paste: `https://turup29-games.pages.dev`
4. ☐ **Save.**
5. ☐ **Test it logged-out:** open the public Page in an **incognito** window, click **Play Game**, and confirm the web game loads. *(Untested buttons are the #1 launch-day embarrassment.)*

> **At Google Play launch (later):** the Play listing `com.shamrocksgames.turup29` is currently a **draft** ("coming soon"), so **do not** put a Play link on the button yet. When it's live you have two choices: keep **Play Game → web** (frictionless), or switch the button to **Use App** and attach the **Google Play** (and, if it exists, App Store) links so each visitor is routed to the right store. Until then, the web URL is the only working destination — also note: `turup29.com` is a **future** vanity domain, **not live**, so don't use it as the working link anywhere.

## §G. Inbox automations (so messages get answered instantly)

All the message text — instant reply, away message, FAQ auto-answers, and canned bug-report replies — is ready in **`response-templates.md`** (EN/BN/HI). Set them up here:

1. ☐ Go to **Meta Business Suite → Inbox → Automations** (top of the Inbox).
2. ☐ **Instant reply / Greeting:** turn **ON**. Paste the greeting from `response-templates.md` (it uses the `{{name}}` first-name token and points to the web app).
3. ☐ **FAQs (automated answers):** add the **8** FAQs (or at least the first 5) from `response-templates.md` — e.g. *"How do I play?" · "Is it free?" · "Is it on Google Play?" · "What languages?" · "I found a bug."* Each has a pre-written auto-answer.
4. ☐ **Saved replies:** create the canned manual replies from `response-templates.md` for bug reports and rules questions, so you can answer fast by hand.
5. ☐ **Away message:** you *can* set one, but because the game is "always open," **keep the Page status Available** (or set away-hours deliberately). If the Page is marked away, the away message **overrides** your instant reply.
6. ☐ Glance at the **public response-rate** later — answering quickly keeps it high, which builds trust.

## §H. Settings to flip on Day One

Switch into the Page; most of these live under **Settings** (or Business Suite). Do them in this order.

1. ☐ **18+ age restriction.** **Settings → Privacy → (Age restriction / "Restrict Page visibility by age")** → set **minimum age 18**.
   - *Why:* belt-and-suspenders against any social-casino misclassification. The game is family-safe, but an **18+ Page** keeps ads bulletproof in India/Bangladesh. (Set it even though the content is clean.)
2. ☐ **Recommendations:** **Settings → Privacy → Page and tagging** (or **Settings → Reviews**) → turn **Recommendations ON**. Positive player recommendations are strong social proof for a free game. *(If you prefer, leave it off until you have a few happy players, then enable — but on a free game the upside outweighs the risk; just monitor and reply.)*
3. ☐ **Profanity filter:** **Settings → Privacy → Page and tagging** → turn the **profanity filter ON** (strong). Keeps comments clean across Bengali/Hindi/English.
4. ☐ **Posting / tagging by visitors:** same screen → decide whether visitors can post to the Page. For a community game, **allowing posts** helps engagement — but you'll moderate. Set tagging rules to your comfort.
5. ☐ **Notifications:** **Settings → Notifications** → turn on alerts for **messages, comments, mentions, and recommendations**, and enable **email** notifications. Fast responses = higher public response rate.
6. ☐ **Professional dashboard:** switch into the Page → open **Professional dashboard** and pin/bookmark it. Review the **account status** and any **recommendation-eligibility warnings** on day one (and weekly).

## §I. Attach to the Business Portfolio + add admins

1. ☐ **If you created the Page via Business Suite (§B), it's already attached** — skip to step 3. Confirm it's listed under **business.facebook.com → Settings → Pages**.
2. ☐ **If you created it on facebook.com:** go to **business.facebook.com → Settings (gear) → Accounts → Pages → Add → Add an existing Page** → pick **Turup 29** → confirm.
3. ☐ **Add admins (use Business Suite, not the old Page-roles screen):** **Business Settings → Users → People → Invite people** → enter their **email (must match their Facebook login)** → assign the **Turup 29 Page** → choose access:
   - **Full control** — only for co-owners.
   - **Partial access** — for everyone else; toggle just the tasks they need (Content, Messages, Community activity, Ads, Insights).
   - *Rule of thumb:* give most helpers **Partial**; reserve **Full control** for owners.
4. ☐ **(Free, recommended)** Complete **business verification** in **Business Suite → Security Center / Permissions & Verifications**. This proves your business identity and unlocks features (higher ad limits, certain integrations). *(This is not the blue badge — that's §L — but it's free legitimacy.)*

## §J. Link Instagram + WhatsApp (optional but recommended)

1. ☐ **Meta Business Suite → Settings → Linked accounts/assets** (or **Professional dashboard → Tools → Linked accounts**).
2. ☐ **Link Instagram** — enables cross-posting and a unified inbox. Keep the IG handle matching `@turup29` if you can.
3. ☐ **Link WhatsApp Business** *only if* you'll actually offer WhatsApp support. Linking a number enables the **Send WhatsApp Message** CTA — but the Page's main button stays **Play Game** (§F); WhatsApp would be a secondary contact path, not the headline button.

## §K. Publish the first posts + pin one

1. ☐ Open **`pinned-post.md`** and publish that post first (the "Play free now" launch post). It already front-loads the hook in the first ~125–150 characters (all that shows before "See more" on mobile) and links the web app.
2. ☐ **Pin it:** on the published post, click the **•••** → **Pin to top of Page**. It now greets every visitor.
3. ☐ Then publish **2 more launch posts** from the top of **`content-calendar-30day.md`** to give the Page life before you invite anyone. Use the matching images from `assets/posts/`.
4. ☐ **Invite friends:** from the Page, use **Invite friends** to seed the first followers.
5. ☐ Going forward, follow **`content-calendar-30day.md`** (a 30-day plan with ready captions in EN/BN/HI) for steady posting. For link-share posts, the correct **1200×630 link-preview image** lives in `assets/og/`. If Facebook asks for a thumbnail when you set a **cover video**, use `assets/cover/cover-video-poster-820x462.png`.

> **Engagement vs contest rule:** *"Tag your 29 partner ♠"* is a great **engagement** prompt and is fine. But it can **never** be a contest **entry** requirement. If you run a giveaway, entry = **like / comment / Page-post only** (never "share to your timeline / tag a friend to enter"), the prize must be **non-cash** (e.g. in-game coins or a shout-out), entry **free**, and the post **must** include: *"This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta/Facebook."* This is in the calendar where giveaways appear — follow it exactly.

## §L. Optional — Meta Verified + business verification

- **Meta Verified (paid blue badge):** boosts trust for new players and adds impersonation protection. **Apply via Meta Business Suite → Settings → Meta Verified.** You'll need **Full control of the Business Portfolio**, **2FA / Advanced Protection on for everyone with access**, and **government ID and/or business documents**. Pricing is tiered and regional — **confirm the exact figure in-product** before subscribing, and **bundle Page + Instagram** to lower the total. *It's optional at launch — a good move around the **Google Play launch / first marketing push**.*
- **Business verification (free):** if you didn't already, complete it in **Security Center** (§I.4). Not a badge, but it unlocks features and adds legitimacy.
- **Note:** the old **free** application-based blue/grey badges are effectively gone — don't hunt for a free "request verification" form; the badge is the paid Meta Verified program now.

> **Final compliance pass before you call it done:** skim the live Page (bio, About, button label, pinned post, profile + cover images) and confirm **nothing** anywhere reads as gambling/betting/cash/"win money/earn." Coins, if mentioned, must always say they're **virtual, no real-world value, not cashable**. If every box above is ticked and that pass is clean, **Turup 29 is launch-ready.** ♠♥♦♣
